Ali’s Men is a research group and think tank committed to the progress of the Black community.
Operation Proclamation works toward empowering Black men with the tools and mindsets to boldly assert their citizenship, forming a formidable voting bloc with a platform of demands.
Our project seeks to demonstrate that it is indeed possible to "raise the dead," to convert habitual and generational non-participants into fully educated, responsible and discerning voters capable of moving the needle on issues affecting the Black community. It aims to demonstrate the ability to organize nothing less than an Issues-based Black male vote bloc that directly works to change and transform the social environment in the urban sector, and to further work to make urban government adequately reflect the population demographic and values.
